Your Mission:
As ZEMA's HR Architect, you'll cultivate the talent powerhouse driving Zambia's environmental protection by:
✔ Transforming HR systems for 500+ conservation professionals
✔ Aligning workforce strategy with climate action goals
✔ Championing green workplace innovations
Strategic Impact Areas:
🌱 Environmental Talent Pipeline
• Design specialized recruitment for ecologists, inspectors & climate specialists
• Develop capacity building programs aligned with NDC commitments
• Implement succession planning for technical environmental roles
🤝 Industrial Relations
• Lead collective bargaining with conservation unions
• Resolve complex disciplinary cases in regulatory environment
• Interpret Labour Laws + Public Service HR policies
🚀 Workplace Transformation
• Pioneer green office initiatives (carbon-neutral operations)
• Optimize field staff mobility across 10 regional offices
• Digitize HR processes for remote conservation teams
You Bring:
✅ Credentials
• Bachelor's in HR Management (Master's preferred)
• Full ZIHRM Membership + valid practicing certificate
• Grade 12 Certificate (University entrance)
✅ 5+ Years Proven Leadership
• 3 years at HR management level
• Public sector labor law expertise
• Large institution organizational development
✅ Tech & Compliance
• HRIS implementation experience
• PSHR compliance mastery
• Valid driver's license
