First Quantum Minerals (FQM), a global leader in copper production, is seeking a skilled Multi-Purpose Driver to join our Warehouse team at Kansanshi Mine. This role is essential for ensuring the safe, efficient movement of goods while upholding FQM’s high standards of safety and operational excellence.

📌 Position Details:

Job Title: Driver Multi-Purpose

Site: Kansanshi Mine

Department: Commercial

Section: Warehouse

Reports to: Warehouse Supervisor (Receiving)

🔑 Key Responsibilities:

✔ Safe Material Handling:

• Operate forklifts and light vehicles to load/unload goods without damage
• Stack and retrieve items at designated locations with precision

✔ Vehicle & Equipment Care:

• Perform daily inspections and basic maintenance
• Keep all assigned vehicles clean and service-ready

✔ Logistics Coordination:

• Transport goods within the warehouse and storage yards
• Deliver/collect items from designated points as required

✔ Compliance & Safety:

• Strictly follow FQM safety protocols and housekeeping standards
• Adhere to load capacity limits (up to 12 tons)

✅ Requirements:

📜 Qualifications:

• Grade 12 Certificate
• SADC Driver’s License (Class C)
• Professional Operators Driving License
• Basic mechanical knowledge (advantageous)

🛠️ Experience:

• 2+ years in warehouse/logistics driving roles
• Proven ability to handle forklifts and light trucks
