Are you a skilled mechanic or auto electrician ready to power Africa’s logistics? SGC Investment Limited, a leader in fuels, retail & cross-border logistics, is expanding its technical team to maintain our fleet of 150+ Volvo, Renault & Shacman trucks traversing Southern Africa!
🔧 Open Positions:
1️⃣ AUTO MECHANICS (x3)
2️⃣ AUTO ELECTRICIAN (x1)
⚙️ Your Mission:
As an Auto Mechanic, You Will:
✔ Perform diagnostics & repairs on engines, transmissions, brakes & pneumatics
✔ Conduct preventive maintenance (oil changes, fluid checks, tire rotations)
✔ Master Volvo/Renault/Shacman systems through ongoing training
As an Auto Electrician, You Will:
✔ Troubleshoot wiring, lighting, ABS & engine management systems
✔ Install/maintain battery & electronic control systems
✔ Ensure 100% compliance with safety standards
✅ Who We Want:
✔ Qualification: Craft Cert/Diploma in Auto Mechanics/Electrician + Grade 12
✔ Experience: 3-5 years in large fleets (150+ trucks) – Congo/Tanzania/SA routes a BIG plus
✔ Skills:
- Diagnostic tools expertise
- Team player with clean record
- Physically fit & safety-conscious
- ✔ Attitude: Self-starter, sober-minded, cost-aware
