Key responsibilities

1.     Material Receipt and Issue 

·       Assist in the receipt, inspection, and issuance of raw materials, packaging materials, and finished goods in accordance with approved procedures.

·       Verify quantities and documentation against delivery notes and purchase orders.

 

2.      Inventory Management

·       Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records in the system and/or manual registers.

·       Support timely updating of stock movements to ensure real-time inventory accuracy.

 

3.      Stock Verification and Reconciliation

·       Participate in periodic stock counts (daily, weekly, monthly, and annual).

·       Assist in reconciliation of physical stock against system records and investigate variances.

 

4.      Documentation and Records

·       Support preparation of Goods Received Notes (GRNs) and ensure proper documentation, filing, and traceability.

·       Maintain orderly and audit-ready store records.

 

5.      Coordination and Material Movement

·       Coordinate with Production and Quality Assurance teams to facilitate timely and accurate material movement.

·       Ensure materials issued meet quality, quantity, and timing requirements.

 

6.      Storage, Binning, and Housekeeping

·       Assist in proper binning, labeling, and identification of materials.

·       Ensure cleanliness, organization, and safe housekeeping standards are maintained within the stores area.

 

7.      FIFO / FEFO Compliance

·       Monitor and support adherence to FIFO (First-In-First-Out) and FEFO (First-Expired-First-Out) principles where applicable.

·       Highlight risks related to slow-moving, obsolete, or near-expiry stock.

 

8.      Reporting

·       Support preparation of daily, weekly, and monthly store reports, including stock status and movement summaries.

·       Provide accurate data to support operational and management decision-making.

 

9.      Compliance and Safety

·       Ensure compliance with store procedures, internal controls, and safety regulations.

·       Promote safe material handling practices and use of appropriate PPE within the stores area.


Key Qualifications & Requirements

Educational Qualifications

o  Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.

Professional Experience

o  Minimum 2–4 years’ experience in store/warehouse operations.

o  Experience with ERP or inventory management systems preferred.
