Job Description & Responsibilities

A leading and innovative fertilizer manufacturing company is seeking three (3) highly motivated and experienced Regional Managers to drive sales and market growth across key regions.

In this pivotal role, you will be the face of our company on the ground, responsible for overseeing all sales, distribution, and customer engagement activities. You will leverage your agribusiness expertise to build strong relationships, support farmers, and achieve ambitious regional targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales & Market Leadership: Lead regional sales operations to achieve and exceed business targets, driving market share growth for our fertilizer products.
  • Dealer & Distributor Management: Develop, manage, and strengthen relationships with our network of dealers and distributors within your assigned region.
  • Farmer Engagement & Support: Conduct regular market visits, farmer demonstrations, and promotional activities. Provide valuable agronomic support and technical advice to farmers.
  • Strategic Planning & Analysis: Prepare accurate regional sales forecasts and monitor stock levels in coordination with the logistics team. Analyze competitor activity and market trends to recommend effective strategies.
  • Team Supervision: Supervise, coach, and mentor field sales staff to ensure high performance, accountability, and professional development.
  • Marketing Execution: Implement national marketing strategies and campaigns at the regional level as directed by the Commercial Department.
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit timely, comprehensive sales and performance reports to management.

Qualifications & Experience

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Agronomy, Agricultural Economics, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of proven experience in fertilizer sales, agricultural input marketing, or agribusiness management.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage teams and develop dealer or distributor networks.
  • A strong understanding of regional farming systems, crop cycles, and crop nutrition principles.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivation, a results-driven attitude, and a passion for the agricultural sector.
