Reports to: Production Manager
Experience: 2 years’ experience
Qualifications:
Degree in Production Engineering, Experience/knowledge of ERP (production module), and Routing. Experience from a tile making background is an added advantage.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct time studies, capacity calculations, set manning standards, and perform line balancing.
- Implement lean improvement initiatives (ECRS, VSM, OEE, SMED) to drive cost reduction and efficiency gains.
- Optimize workshop layout, material flow, and WIP control for streamlined operations.
- Develop and maintain SOPs, work standards, piece-rate schemes, and KPI systems to ensure consistency and accountability.
- Manage BOM setup and maintenance, material quotas, waste standards, and verify BOM accuracy.
- Align BOM with process routes to support cost calculation and ERP integration.
- Perform data analysis and prepare improvement reports for management.
- Lead cross-department improvement projects and deliver training programs to build capability.
