Job Purpose
To implement Access Bank Zambia Public Sector strategy in-country focused on coordinating and interpretive decisions covering every product, sales, service, and distribution aspects to include product development, market analysis, sales campaigning and monitoring, customer portfolio relationship management, processes, procedure, and business performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Align with Relationship Manager on Public Sector strategy.
- Coordinate with internal banking units (Retail, Treasury, etc.).
- Translate strategy into actionable targets.
- Identify and attract Public Sector entities.
- envelope and manage Public Sector portfolio.
- Conduct client visits and understand ministry needs.
- Market banking services to government bodies.
- Identify new product opportunities.
- Liaise with regulators for product approvals.
- Support marketing campaigns.
- Explore cross-selling and up-selling opportunities.
- Monitor loan portfolios daily.
- Verify financial and credit information.
- Ensure completeness of loan applications.
- Conduct site visits and desktop monitoring.
- Follow up on missed payments within 24 hours.
- Ensure compliance with internal and regulatory policies.
- Analyze MIS data and ministry performance.
- Create dashboards for decision-making.
- Maintain 100% data quality.
- Conduct competitor and market analysis.
- Manage own portfolio performance.
- Monitor performance contracts.
Educational Background:
- Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field:
Experience:
- 3-5 years of experience in banking, financial services, or a related field, with a focus on relationship management.
- Proven track record in managing client relationships.
