📌 Role Snapshot

• Position: Resettlement Specialist
• Location: Solwezi
• Experience: 10-15 years in international/African resettlement projects
• Key Focus: IFC-compliant RAPs, stakeholder engagement, socio-economic analysis

✨ Your Mission

✔ Lead with Integrity – Develop and implement Resettlement Action Plans (RAPs) that align with IFC Performance Standards, safeguarding communities and livelihoods.

✔ Bridge Progress & People – Conduct socio-economic surveys, manage stakeholder engagement, and ensure Free, Prior, and Informed Consent (FPIC).

✔ Data-Driven Decisions – Leverage GIS mapping, automate RAP databases, and analyze spatial/social data to guide ethical resettlement.

✔ Monitor & Adapt – Oversee Livelihood Restoration Programs (LRP) and compliance audits, ensuring projects meet global standards.

✔ Champion Transparency – Document processes meticulously, communicate visually, and uphold zero tolerance for non-compliance.

🔍 Who We’re Looking For

✅ Advanced Degree in Social Sciences, SIA, or Resettlement Project Management (MSc/PhD preferred).

✅ 10-15 Years’ Experience in:

• Mining-related resettlement (Africa/international).
• IFC/World Bank compliance and socio-economic impact assessments.
• Land tenure rights, budgeting, and participatory planning.
• ✅ Technical Mastery – GIS, project management, data analysis, and technical writing.
• ✅ Unshakeable Ethics – Honest, detail-oriented, and politically neutral.
